From One Family To Another
As a family of four, we love living in Washington, DC, and a staycation in your city almost every weekend with endless events and views. However, every once and a while we love to get out of the city and explore other places. It’s not easy to discover places that accommodate babies at hotels or how to navigate the city and some Taxi and Uber/Lyft drivers that may refuse passengers who aren’t lugging around a car seat. During our travels when our son was under the age of two, we never brought our expensive car seat or stroller. This made our travels complicated and we were that family that got refused many Uber/Lyft rides. Until our trip to Spain, that is when we discovered a rental company. This rental company had options for baby accessories to accommodate tourists and made our experience extraordinary! Our son didn’t do well sleeping in a pack-and-play, and most hotels only offer such. So during our stay, we rented a crib and stroller to take on the cobblestones - BEST TRIP EVER! Then Rent a Buggy was created.
During our ultimate staycation in the DMV, we found the best places/activities for both parents and toddlers. We are all parents here and who wouldn’t want to grab a nice drink while the kids play, or enjoy the activity as well? Don’t worry about lugging all your expensive car seats, strollers, blankets, etc in addition to the other million things you packed. No longer do you have to experience airport fatigue by carrying an excessive amount of luggage to the airport and then to your gate. Exhausted by the time you get to the gate, kids may not be the best travelers and now add that on top of your exhaustion and it being only 9:00 am! Wait, it isn’t over, now you arrived and I pray your flight wasn’t insane with a baby/toddler unable to get comfortable, which means no rest for you. Finally, after you get off the plane, you wait for all your baby accessories then lug them through the airport and pack into the taxi and pray you have a decent bell boy at the hotel to do the last leg of your lugging around. Wait, did you think you can nap? Oh no, don’t be silly, you have to explore the city now! SOUNDS LIKE A NIGHTMARE!! This can be avoided, well most of it. The exhaustion of lugging extra weight.
